CMSgt Rich Lee

Chief Master Sergeant Richard A. Lee is the Superintendent for the 6th Mission Support Group, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. Chief Lee is the liaison between the group commander, six squadron commanders, and an enlisted force of more than 1,100 personnel assigned to the 6th Mission Support Group. He advises the Group Commander on matters affecting the health, morale and welfare of the group’s enlisted force, and issues which affect the mission readiness of six diverse squadrons. He also provides professional guidance and career counseling to assigned personnel.
Chief Lee grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and entered the Air Force in 1986. He is a career Information Manager with over 20 years experience in command support, base distribution, publishing distribution, and publications and forms management. His assignments include Texas, Germany, Arizona, Florida, and the Azores. Chief Lee’s career highlights include being selected for the initial cadre of the Joint Undergraduate Navigator Training Program, serving as the Senior Enlisted Air Force Liaison to the Commander, Training Air Wing SIX, Naval Air Station Pensacola, Florida, and serving as the Squadron Superintendent for the Interim Deployable Combined Air Operations Center, Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Chief Lee assumed his current duties in July 2008.
